We’re Looking for You!

Nationwide, we currently have more than 3,700 coaches signed up with The First Tee, including PGA and LPGA pros, as well as volunteers. But you don’t have to be a golf pro or even a good golfer. With The First Tee Coach Program, we provide the training you need.

Developed with input from leading experts in the field of positive youth development, our program focuses on empowering participants through decision-making and exploring options. This helps foster positive relationships between coaches and young people, inspiring the golfers of tomorrow to look to the future, set goals, and unlock their potential.

 Learn More About Opportunities

The First Tee of Denver is always in need of volunteers who are looking to use their passion for golf to help kids. There are many volunteer opportunities available doing a wide variety of tasks including working directly with kids, helping with events, helping with administrative work, and using one’s professional skills in any other way to help give back to the Denver community.

Please review the following information to see the various ways volunteers are able to help us.

The role of the volunteer is to reinforce the instructor’s lesson, the day’s life skill, the day’s core value, and ensure participants are having fun. More experienced volunteers will take on the role of instructor.
